01 / Product
Modular, surface-mounted flooring for indoor sports facilities
ECO-FLAME STOP GYM is made from a blend of recycled rubber designed to improve resistance to flame spread and reduce smoke emissions in the event of combustion. Its Bfl-s1 classification allows it to be used in indoor environments with stricter safety requirements, including areas adjacent to escape routes, subject to verification of the specific project’s requirements.
Product Classification
ECO-FLAME STOP GYM is a modular, loose-lay resilient flooring system, as defined by EN ISO 2424:2012.
Since it is placed or secured solely for the purpose of stabilizing the plates and is not intended to be permanently incorporated into a building, it does not fall under the definition of a construction product within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR).
Version and Mounting
The product is available with a smooth, seamless surface.
Upon request, we can provide the LOCK mechanical fastening system to stabilize the plates relative to one another without altering the walking surface.

05 / Fire Performance
Bfl-s1 classification according to EN 13501-1
The flooring has been classified as Bfl-s1 based on the tests required for flooring. This classification allows for its use in indoor environments with more stringent safety requirements; compatibility with a specific project must be verified by the designated technician.
Classification
Bfl-s1
Fire reaction classification of flooring in accordance with EN 13501-1.
Exposure to Fire
EN ISO 11925-2
The test with a 15-second exposure yielded the expected result.
Radiant panel
EN ISO 9239-1
This test is used to determine the classification of the pavement.
06 / Materials and Color
Material, Surface, and Color
ECO-FLAME STOP GYM is composed of recycled SBR rubber granules, derived primarily from end-of-life tyres, bound with polyurethane resin. The base layer uses a selected medium-grain size of less than 3 mm; the surface layer is made with a selected fine-grain size.
The product is available in uncolored black. Small dots, micro-irregularities, and slight color variations are inherent characteristics of recycled rubber and do not compromise the performance or overall appearance of the flooring.
07 / Installation
Installation and Layout Diagrams
The flooring is designed for modular, loose-lay installation. Upon completion of the work, the surface must be even, stable, and free of any lifting.
Substrate Preparation
Stable and level
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust or imperfections that could compromise the system’s stability.
Installation Diagram
In a grid pattern or staggered
The plates must be aligned precisely. A staggered arrangement is generally recommended to distribute loads more evenly and improve overall stability.
Stabilization
LOCK or additional fastening
When required by the project, installation can be supplemented with polyurethane adhesive, double-sided tape, or the LOCK mechanical system, to be determined based on the subfloor and the expected duration of use.
08 / Cleaning
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and preserve the surface’s properties over time.
Routine cleaning
Vacuuming and a neutral cleaner
Remove dirt with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter, then wipe with a microfiber cloth and a mild, rubber-safe cleaner, avoiding excessive amounts of water.
Deep Cleaning
Wash-and-dry cycle or soft brush
For routine cleaning, you can use a scrubber-dryer or treat stains locally with a mild detergent and a soft-bristled brush.
Products to Avoid
Solvents, waxes, acids, and alkalis
Do not use solvents, acidic or alkaline cleaners, or wax-based products, as they may damage the surface.
